The Archives: Baja EcoWarrior Retreat
Registration for the 2023 Baja EcoWarrior Retreat closes in just two days. So today, we're keeping things simple. The Baja EcoWarrior Retreat is for you if...
"Focused time in nature" is one of the core components of our Baja EcoWarrior Retreat. Disconnecting to reconnect, as we like to call it. Without the constant stresses of email, social media, and even things like noise pollution, we're able to become centered in ourselves, and deeply connect with our inner and outer world - all while dipping our toes in water, eating tacos, and swimming with whale sharks.
Our Baja EcoWarrior Retreat is coming up in September and I've shared all about how incredible this retreat is...but obviously I'm a bit biased. So this week I'm handing the mic over to two EcoWarriors who joined us on our first-ever retreat back in 2021 to give you a little glimpse into what it was like for someone visiting the Vermilion Sea Field Station for the first time.
One of my favorite things about our annual Baja EcoWarrior Retreat is that you really can make the trip your own. But if you're gonna go on a trip like this, you probably wanna know what's on the schedule. So here's what's happening day-to-day on our Baja EcoWarrior Retreat.
This year's Baja EcoWarrior Retreat retreat will really focus on connection. Nurturing your whole self, body and mind, in a way that can only be done in nature, to connect with your values, your roots, your personal mission, and our planet. The world around you is still foggy - a landscape that could almost only be imagined - desert, sea, and mountains juxtaposed in some sort of peace.
Once upon a time, in a land where anxious minds never sleep and rest is a sign of weakness, there lived a queen who longed for respite. For a break from her duties and a way to reconnect with herself - away from the pressures of her kingdom. But, to the queen, it seemed, there was no place she could turn...
Our Baja EcoWarrior Retreat was something I envisioned for this shop from the very beginning. A Drop in the Ocean has always been about so much more than zero waste. Our vision is a sustainable future for all living things, and one of my favorite ways to work towards this future is with our Baja EcoWarrior Retreat.
Our Baja EcoWarrior Retreat is nothing short of magical, truly. This place and this experience has changed my life in more ways than I can count, and I know it's done the same for so many others who have set foot at the Vermilion Sea Field Station. Here's what Robin from our 2021 retreat has to say about it...
