šŸŒž This is secretly my favorite part...

A ray of warmth is gently cast onto your slowly awakening body. The cool of the night is already retreating as the first peak of sunrise surfaces across the horizon. The world around you is still foggy - a landscape that could almost only be imagined - desert, sea, and mountains juxtaposed in some sort of peace.

Is it orange? Maybe yellow? Definitely some shade of red? Or is it pink?

The sun begins to rise over Isla Cabeza de Caballo, slowly painting its colors onto the obsidian sea the moon left behind. Ah, yes, this must be what they call Vermilion.

It's early still, but you are not the only one stirring. A few others have even made their way down to the water to greet the Sun as its radiance creeps ever closer to the shore from behind its Island hiding place. An oystercatcher calls. The pelicans soar. A stingray leaps from Vermilion reflection of the heavens.

This is how every day begins.

With the light of a new beginning. The promise of what already is, as well as the beauty to come.

Before the Sun came to wake you from your slumber, the kitchen was already in motion. Coffee is the first priority - a necessity for so many to begin their day happy and comfortable. The oven and plancha are on, the meal is being prepped. And that smell. You can never beat the smell of a warm breakfast.

Sweet, savory, and salty all at once.

A careful concoction to nourish your body for a day of adventure. A balance of carbs, fat, protein, thoughtfully and carefully prepared with an expertise that so many of us take for granted.

The sunrise only gets more beautiful and more satisfying with the first bite.

Look, my friend, I gotta tell you a secret.

Whale sharks are cool and all, but waking up with the sun, the sound of the waves kissing the Bahia shoreline, filling that first cup of coffee and enjoying the peacefulness of the bold sunrise over the mountains... this is my favorite part of the day on our Baja EcoWarrior Retreat.

It's quiet.

There's just the right amount of morning chill.

The world is still sleepy.

And we get to just...be.

Even as I'm writing this, I can feel my heart rate slow, my breath get a little deeper, and my muscles start to relax.

Our Baja EcoWarrior Retreat is many things, but one of the best words I'd use to describe it is rejuvenating.

There's honestly nothing quite like it.

There are still spots left in this year's retreat, and if you could use a break from the grind, a reset button, and an escape to nature, click that button below to learn more and save your spot.

Payment plans are available at checkout - just choose the timeline that works best for you.

And if you have any questions at all, feel free to send me an email. I'm happy to schedule a call with you, too, if you'd like to chat that way šŸ’™

Will you be part of the adventure?
