Eliminate chemicals, reduce drying time, and soften your clothes sustainably. These dryer balls are made of 100% domestic wool, handcrafted in Maine. By efficiently circulating your laundry, clothes will dry 10-25% more quickly, saving you cash!
Pro tip: Add a few drops of your favorite essential oil to freshen your clothes at the same time. We recommend a eucalyptus essential oil - the perfect pairing with our eucalyptus laundry detergent!
About the size of a baseball (~10 inches in circumference)
These balls are 100% domestic wool.
Toss into your dryer with your laundry! They'll do the rest of the work.
How many do I need?
Small to medium loads: 3 balls
Medium to large loads: 6 balls
Large to extra-large loads: 9-12 balls
These are general guidelines; the more you use, the more quickly your laundry will dry and the softer it will be.
Help! My laundry still has static!
We've got you covered! Try one or all of these tricks to help.
(1) Reduce your heat setting and stop your dryer before the cycle ends. If the laundry is already dry, keeping it in the cycle longer will create more static.
(2) Wet 1-2 of your dryer balls and toss them back in for a few minutes.
(3) Add a safety pin to some or all of your dryer balls.
Should your dryer balls need some cleaning, simply toss in the washing machine on a warm cycle.
Packaging + End of Life
These dryer balls should last for hundreds of laundry loads. They may start to fray, but they’ll still work! Once they’ve reached the end of their life, though, just toss in the compost pile.

We ship ugly boxes
Our commitment to sustainability doesn't end when you press that checkout button.
We pack all of our orders in reused boxes and envelopes, with reused paper packaging, post-consumer recycled paper labels, and even paper tape.
You may not get an IG-worthy unboxing, but you will get the most sustainable packaging we can possibly find.
Oh and did we mention our shipping is always carbon negative?
Let's go to the real winner in my eyes. Honestly, I could have purchased this exact razor many other places, but the packaging A Drop in the Ocean uses to ship will have me coming back time and time gain.
My first purchase from them was some floss a while ago and it arrived in a reused tea box with a hand written note that was written on scrap paper. I was blown away.
I had never seen a company who claimed to be sustainable ACTUALLY prove to be sustainable through and through. The fact that every piece of the packaging was reused and minimal will have me come back over and over again. If I can purchase it here, I will purchase it here.
Wool Dryer Balls
I really love the wool dryer balls! My clothes come out so soft every time.
Super soft and definitely help my clothes dry faster!
The title is catchy, but...
I thought it would eliminate static cling, and it doesn’t. I always use all three balls. Have to still add dryer sheets, so they really don’t help that much. Wish they did.
A Drop in the Ocean
I'm so sorry you're still experiencing static with your dryer balls. Here are a few options you can try to reduce the static: (1) Reduce your heat setting and stop your dryer before the cycle ends. If the clothes are already dry, keeping them in the cycle longer will create more static. (2) Wet 1-2 of your dryer balls and toss them back in for a few minutes. (3) Add a safety pin to some or all of your dryer balls. Please let us know how these little hacks work for you! Winter can be such a drag with static :/
Never buy dryer sheets again!
I absolutely love these! I have sensitive skin so finding dryer sheets has always been hard. Well no more there not only replace the sheets they save me money. They dry my cloths faster and my skin dose not get irritated or itchy and my cloths come out free of static and soft. They also last a nice long time. Worth every penny.
