Swedish Dishcloth // The PNW Collection
If paper towels and plastic sponges had a baby, this would be it. Made from 70% cellulose and 30% cotton, Swedish dishcloths are machine washable and will last for years but are fully backyard-compostable at the end of their life. They're highly absorbent - they can hold 20 times their weight in liquid - and dry super fast so bacteria doesn't grow like it can on traditional plastic sponges.
Our full line of Swedish dishcloths are designed and printed in Seattle using water-based inks. Each collection is available as a set or as individual cloths.
Just like a sponge, wet your Swedish dishcloth, wring out excess water, and get down to cleaning.
Wash your Swedish dishcloths with the rest of your laundry and hang dry. We prefer to lay them flat to dry or hang with clothespins so they dry flat. Or, pop your dishcloths in the dishwasher on the top rack for a quick wash and sanitize.

End of Life
At the end of its life, cut up your Swedish dishcloth and toss it in your backyard compost.

At first I just wanted to prop it up on the counter near the sink and enjoy it as an art form - very pretty! Then, I decided that was silly and started using it. Wow. I really like this product and will be purchasing more of them!!! A perfect cross between a sponge and a cloth - I am not sure I will go back!
I got a little starter kit for my Mom. We are working towards zero waste life still. The cloths have been great! She really likes them. Along with the other items I got. Will be buying more!
Very absorbent, dries quickly, love the design!
I love these dishclothes! They last much longer and work better than a sponge and are compostable when they finally wear out. I also love the forest graphics on this one. Easy care- I just roll up and pop it in the silverware tray when I run the dishwasher, give it a quick rinse when I take it out, and that's it! I would definitely buy more of these.
