Did you know loofahs are actually a relative of the cucumber? (Fun fact of the day 🤓)
Keep these babies all over your home; our raw natural loofahs are perfect for scrubbing dishes, cleaning the bathroom, or even a bit of skin exfoliation. Grown on a family farm in Guatemala or India, our loofahs are unprocessed, pesticide- and herbicide-free, and fully compostable. Depending on their use, each loofah will last several weeks to a few months.
Each loofah could even be cut into smaller loofahs so they last even longer! Make them your own.
100% loofah plant fiber
Packaging + End of Life
Each loofah comes compressed and flattened, and expands when wet. Loofahs are actually a vegetable! So toss these babies into your backyard compost, or even just bury them in your yard or in your garden when it's time to replace them. They will decompose within 30 days.
These loofahs are grown on family farms in India and Guatemala, and distributed through Los Angeles, California.

Why did I not try these sooner
The natural loofahs feel amazing on my skin. A true sensory experience when I move it along my skin. I actually told my wife she needed to try one and will be giving one to my mother as part of her Mother’s Day gift.
Love that these come in a multi-pack. There was a similar loofah I was buying from the store, but it only came with one, was wrapped in plastic, and it was too dense to get the soap to foam up. These do a great job of exfoliating and cleaning, plus there is no plastic packaging.
You could swap quite a few plastic house hold items for this beloved sponge. I’ve got one in the shower as a loofah, one under the sink for cleaning, one for dishes, I’m a huge fan!
Love the Loofah!
LOVE IT! There's nothing better, for everything from scrubbing dishes to cleaning the grill to washing my face! They're strong, they're soft, they come perfectly clean after a job, and they're ALL natural. What could be better?
Nice for house cleaning if you need a good scrub
I've used these for shower ****-type cleaning, where a good, close scrub is required. I don't want to use steel wool, but toothbrush bristles just collapse, and I don't want to search for the perfect hand-held scrub brush. Enter these loofah sponges! Sturdier than expected.
We ship ugly boxes
Our commitment to sustainability doesn't end when you press that checkout button.
We pack all of our orders in reused boxes and envelopes, with reused paper packaging, post-consumer recycled paper labels, and even paper tape.
You may not get an IG-worthy unboxing, but you will get the most sustainable packaging we can possibly find.
Oh and did we mention our shipping is always carbon negative?
Let's go to the real winner in my eyes. Honestly, I could have purchased this exact razor many other places, but the packaging A Drop in the Ocean uses to ship will have me coming back time and time gain.
My first purchase from them was some floss a while ago and it arrived in a reused tea box with a hand written note that was written on scrap paper. I was blown away.
I had never seen a company who claimed to be sustainable ACTUALLY prove to be sustainable through and through. The fact that every piece of the packaging was reused and minimal will have me come back over and over again. If I can purchase it here, I will purchase it here.
