Bug bites are the WORST. But our all-natural, Tacoma-made bug spray is the best. It decreases your skin’s CO2 emission and masks the scent of cholesterol—the two main skin components that attract mosquitoes. Get outdoors without bothersome bug bites.

Witch Hazel; Castor Oil; Soybean Oil; Essential Oils of Cedarwood, Clove, Rosemary, and Geranium

All ingredients are locally-sourced and sustainably harvested in the South Sound Region.

To Use

Shake well before use. Spray and massage directly onto skin. Reapply every 2-4 hours for best results.

Packaging + End of Life

Ships in an aluminum bottle with plastic mister pump. When you’re running low, order a new bottle here, but select “Refill.” We’ll ship your new bottle with a return label for your old one so you can send it back at no cost. Simply pack the empty bottle in the box and send it back to us. We’ll sanitize and reuse the bottle.

Switching from a 4oz to an 8oz? Select the "new" option so we include a new pump as well!

On your first order, choose the "New Jar" or "New Bottle" option.

Get Your Refillable

Your order will be shipped or delivered to you with minimal, reused, packaging. Always plastic-free and carbon neutral.

Order Your Refill

When you're running low, place another order using the "Refill Jar" or "Refill Bottle" option. Or choose the Subscribe + Save option to have refills automatically delivered on your schedule.

{Delivery Only} Leave Us Your Empties

On delivery day, leave your empties on your porch. We'll grab them when we drop off your new order.

Get Your Refill

We'll ship or deliver your refill to you without any pumps or sprays - just a cap. Transfer any pumps or sprays from your old bottle to the new one, and transfer the refill lid to the old bottle.

{Shipping Only} Send it Back!

Pack your empty bottle or jar into the box your refill arrived in. Place the included return label on the box, fully covering the existing label, and hand it off to USPS to come back to us - at no charge to you

I stumbled across A Drop in the Ocean on my quest to reduce our family's plastic use. I have a small family and live in a rural area with only a few big box stores and zero plastic recycling options. Finding plastic free items locally can be a challenge. I was thrilled to find a shop in my home state that would reuse returned glass and aluminum bottles. Park Ranger Approved!

I’m a park ranger working in Utah trying to reduce my waste. I went for this bug spray on a whim while searching for sustainable products to help my dry skin. I wore it to give an evening program at dusk in my park’s campground tonight. It’s mid-June, the day after a huge rainfall, no wind, and I was 30 feet from a river — perfect mosquito habitat. Shook the bottle and sprayed a bit on my arms and swiped some of the spray over my neck. I could see skeeters and no-see-ums flying all around me but none of them landed or bit me! It works, and smells so much better than the OFF Deep Woods I normally have to use at work. I’m so thankful to have found this shop!

It works!

Wore this bug spray on a hike that's notorious for bugs, didn't get a single bite! Really happy to have natural, locally made product to use that's better for the environment. I can feel confident I'm not putting chemicals in any Alpine lakes with this bug spray and the natural sunscreen!

Perfect outdoor companion!

I was inspired to write this review while sitting at the park watching mosquitos fly several feet above me without coming near. I'm SUPER prone to mosquito bites. Even if you think there isn't a bug around, I'll end up with a minimum of 4 bites. I'm thrilled with how well this product works, and it also smells amazing! Another winner from ADItOS
