To Use
Lather the bar between your hands, and use your hands to massage the light cream into your hair, focusing on the ends. Or, massage the bar directly onto your hair.
Packaging + End of Life
This conditioner bar will either be completely naked, or will be packaged in reused kraft paper, which can be home composted.

Unfortunately I did not like this product. It takes forever to make enough suds from the shampoo bar to wash my hair. This might be an o.k. product for people with short hair. I will use the rest of the bar as body soap. The conditioner bar leaves a greasy, waxy residue that is impossible to rinse out. I tried it 3 times using 3 different amounts and each time after drying my hair, I had to get back into the shower and re-wash it with my old liquid shampoo.

A Drop in the Ocean
I'm so sorry to hear the shampoo and conditioner bars didn't work well for your hair, Karen! I do find that it takes my hair a couple of weeks to adjust to using the bars, and it takes way less shampoo than I think it does to get my hair clean! However, I also know that not all hair is created equal and sometimes what works for one person won't work for another. I do wonder if our liquid shampoo and conditioner might be a better fit for your hair. (That's what I personally use and my hair is so happy with them!) Strong scent
This review is for the fine hair conditioner bar. I'm not sure if they all smell the same, but the fine hair bar has a very strong smell. It smells a bit like patchouli to me. I have also purchased the bar shampoos in both fine hair and all hair varieties, but the smell of the conditioner is different and much stronger compared to that of the shampoos. I was hoping that I wouldn't be able to smell it anymore after my hair dried, but after a full 24 hours, I can still smell it. I do like the way it makes my hair feel in combination with the shampoo bar, so if you like strong scents like patchouli, this would be a good conditioner for you. I personally probably won't try any of the other conditioner bars here unless the scents are labelled so I could know what I'm getting ahead of time.
