To Use
Pump a small amount of lotion into your hands (you really do need just a small amount!), and massage gently into your skin. Reapply as needed throughout the day.
Pro-tip: Give your cuticles some extra TLC! Massage a small drop of revitalizing skin serum into each of your cuticles and the skin around your nails before bed, then apply a little bit of this moisturizing body lotion all over your hands to seal in extra moisture. In just one night your cuticles will thank you! (Take it from someone who’s constantly picking at the skin around her nails!) Apply nightly for best results.

This refillable body lotion ships in a glass bottle with a plastic pump.
When you’re running low, order another bottle here, but select “Refill.” We’ll ship your new bottle without a pump - just with an aluminum cap - and we’ll include a return label for your empty one so you can send it back at no cost. Simply transfer your pump to the new bottle, pack the empty bottle in the box, and send it back to us. We’ll sanitize and reuse the bottle.
(If you're within our local delivery radius, just leave your empty bottle on your porch on delivery day!)

So on top of all the things we mentioned above about what makes our refillable body lotion so sustainable, here’s a few other things you should know:
- We’re actually practicing what we preach behind the scenes. Each year, we track and record all of our trash, and we wrote a whole blog post on it. The tl;dr version is this: on average, we produce less than 0.5 pounds of trash each month. Everything from the packaging our products come in down to the Sharpie we use to write “Fragile” on your box is zero waste to its core.

We ship ugly boxes. Your order from A Drop in the Ocean is not going to arrive in a pretty, branded box. It’s gonna show up in a reused tea box, or a donated Amazon box, or maybe even an inside-out Girl Scout Cookies box. All of our shipping materials are always 100% plastic-free and reused as much as possible, with curbside-recyclable paper tape and a post-consumer recycled paper shipping label. It won’t be pretty, but it will be zero waste.
