Works great in my dishwasher and I love the minimal packaging!
Work great, get my dishes very clean!
I was originally skeptical that this product would work well but want to reduce the amount of plastic our household uses so I ordered a jar. I've been pleasantly surprised to find that it is working as well as my jell soap - no spotting after the rinse either. I definitely will purchase this again.
This has been the only product from A Drop in the Ocean Shop that I have had an issue with. I am not sure if its my dishwasher or if it's our quality of water but these left bad residue over my entire dishwasher load, every single time I use them. I still have some left in the jar sitting underneath my sink. I had to resort to regular store bought dishwasher pods for now since these did not work for me. I gave 3 stars because yes, the dishes looked technically clean and free of any food scraps but every single dish had a weird film on it. You could feel and see the film. I tried rewashing the same load 3 times and the same issue arose every time. I gave up and bought plastic filmed dishwasher pods that I am not proud of. Maybe Krystina will have a suggestion but it's my fault for never reaching out to troubleshot the issue.
Hey Shay! I'm sorry to hear you're not happy with our dishwasher pods. I've had this residue appear a few times on my dishes too, and I'm truly confounded as to why it appears sometimes and not others! One trick I've discovered - whether there's a residue or not - is adding a little bit of white vinegar to the rinse aid dispenser. When I do this, my dishes always come out SPARKLING. And they don't smell like vinegar, either ;) Maybe give that a try and see how it works for your dishwasher?
Love it! The smell is great and cleans well.
