✨ These period undies are part of our Last Chance collection! Once we sell out of our current inventory, we will not be restocking them. So grab them while you can! ✨
Tired of buying pads and tampons every month, just to throw them in the trash? Over a lifetime, this adds up to somewhere between 5,000 and 15,000 pads and tampons. Yikes.
That's why we love period underwear. Use them on their own or as a backup to a menstrual cup, period undies are one of our favorite sustainable essentials.
We've chosen Saalt brand because their designs are thinner than others we've tried, so you'll never feel bulky or uncomfortable. The gusset (aka the crotch) quickly absorbs wetness, keeping you dry and comfortable longer.
If you're like us, you'll be tempted to wear them even when you're not on your period!
Each pair of undies is about as absorbent as 2-3 tampons.
On the fence? Check out our blog post on the five reasons to switch to reusable period products!
HSA / FSA Eligible
Under the CARES Act, all menstrual products - including period underwear and menstrual cups - are eligible for heath savings account or flexible spending account use.
Body: 80% Recycled Polyester, 20% Elastane
Mesh: 83% Polyamide, 17% Elastane
Lining: 100% Polyester
Gusset: 92% Recycled Polyester, 8% Spandex
Each pair is made with 3 post-consumer recycled water bottles!
Wear just like any other pair of undies during your period, without pads, liners, or tampons.
Rinse with cold water after wearing to help avoid staining. Machine wash with like colors on cold (your other laundry will survive, I promise) and hang to dry. We recommend washing in a delicates bag for some extra care. Do not use fabric softener, bleach, or iron. Check out our full guide for even more details on caring for your period undies.
Packaging + End of Life
100% post-consumer recycled paper envelope. The envelope your undies arrive in is 100% recyclable with paper recycling. Because of the mixed fabrics, when these undies have reached the end of their usable life, we recommend taking them to a textile recycling facility.
Beautifully designed in Paris.
Ethically made in Sri Lanka.

We ship ugly boxes
Our commitment to sustainability doesn't end when you press that checkout button.
We pack all of our orders in reused boxes and envelopes, with reused paper packaging, post-consumer recycled paper labels, and even paper tape.
You may not get an IG-worthy unboxing, but you will get the most sustainable packaging we can possibly find.
Oh and did we mention our shipping is always carbon negative?
Let's go to the real winner in my eyes. Honestly, I could have purchased this exact product many other places, but the packaging A Drop in the Ocean uses to ship will have me coming back time and time gain.
My first purchase from them was some floss a while ago and it arrived in a reused tea box with a hand written note that was written on scrap paper. I was blown away.
I had never seen a company who claimed to be sustainable ACTUALLY prove to be sustainable through and through. The fact that every piece of the packaging was reused and minimal will have me come back over and over again. If I can purchase it here, I will purchase it here.
Should’ve bought these sooner
Love it and worth the investment, buy several to last the week! Makes life so much simpler. It’s everything I expected. Very comfy too.
Period Underwear (Hipster)
These are not only super effective, they're incredibly comfortable also! When I started my journey towards living more sustainably, I was shocked to realize how unsustainable traditional feminine hygiene products are. So. Much. Plastic. These underwear make such a difference and also are ethically made!
Stylish and effective
This is a great product. Reduces plastic waste. Stylish and very comfortable. Runs true to size
Wish I started using these sooner!
I first bought one of these period underwear to try out, it was such a great experience, I bought two more. They are comfortable, not bulky at all, and you won't even notice they are any different that regular underwear. On top of that they are quite cute. Best of all, no more waste!
